After studying Photo Engineering at University of Applied Science in Cologne, Gisbert started his professional career at public Broadcaster WDR in Cologne. Working as Sales and Product Manager with Ikegami, in 1999 he joined Sony Germany. Initially responsible for High-Definition & Broadcast TV-Cameras, Video Tape Recorders and Switchers he since 2010 is working in his current position. His main task is to expedite the development of System Cameras (HD and 4K) and is taking care of the GAS areas.
